First of all, I would like to talk about how I met Jesus in my life. Before I met Jesus, I was trying and struggling to succeed. As a student, going to the top university was the only purpose in my life. However, I became so exhausted that I developed mental health issues.
Unfortunately, I had to quit high school and wasn’t able to enter the university of my dreams. Suddenly, I was all alone and always arguing with my family at that time.
Then, for the first time, I opened my Bible. Since my high school was a Christian school, I knew that ‘the man named Jesus’ had healed many sick people. So, I started thinking that maybe this man could heal me too and began reading the Bible.
Through reading the Bible, I came to know how to live without competing with other people. I learned about serving God with a humble heart in order to build a good society.
I still have to go to the mental health clinic every month for an injection. Sometimes I’m depressed and tempted by thoughts of disappearing. However, I’ve started smiling regularly as I’ve experienced everyone’s love and spent time together with God.
Now, I believe in complete healing because Jesus is our King who has already won the battle. I also received new meaning in life: to serve the Lord as part of His glorious plan. Even if enemies attack me, I am not alone anymore. I have so many amazing friends in Christ. Now, I know there is something more important than being healed from illness. For me, serving Him is now my greatest joy.
Before ending this story, I would like us say The Lord’s Prayer together. And not only that, but also declare: by 2050, 90% Japanese people will be saved.
“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
